I love historical fiction, especially stories that teach me about a time and place that I don't know much about. This story takes place in Spain in the 50's. The part I read was very interesting- explaining what Spain was like through the lenses of characters that lived there: Ana, Rafael, Julia and Puri. The American character Dan also throws an interesting twist because his mother is from Spain but he has grown up in Texas. I really enjoy the writing and how each chapter connects. I can't wait to read the entire book!
