This book seemed to be a moving and enthralling walk into history. Though the reader will follow the lives of Daniel and Ana, it will be against the historical backdrop of 1950s fascist Spain. A fresh, and interesting take on a haunting period in history. The writing was fluid and descriptive, pulling me in, piquing my interest in the fates of Daniel and Ana.
