I have high expectations from Ruta Sepetys as a lover of historical fiction, as well as of her precious works. The Fountains of Silence dives into a war not commonly written about in popular literature, which is enticing within itself. Sepetys's characters make her stories though, and after reading only a couple chapters I'm already fully invested in following these new characters' journeys.
