Ruta Sepetys has done it again. From the very first line of this book the reader is pulled into a captivating narrative of the heartbreak and tragedy of 20th century Spain. The author's historical research and knowledge shine through the pages, but are so well-wrapped in prose that it reads like poetry. I can already tell that this book will be a hit.
