Fascinating story in an intereting hsitorical period

Wow, what a gripping opening. This is a historical period that I really don't know anything about, so I'm really excited to check this book out. I love the way Ruta Sepetys writes and how she is already introducing the world and her characters. I'm also in love with that gorgeous cover!
