I adored everything about this book from the very first page. Not only were the twists unexpected, but the characters all had deep roles in the story. I could continuously get lost in this book and spend an hour reading without even realize I was reading. Those are the best types of books to read. Plus, I am a huge thriller fan, so many of the tropes and twists are not new to me, however this one got me every time. Those who want a dose of excitement in their lives will do well to read The First Mistake. Not only is Sandie Jones a great writer, but she gives her audience exactly what they are looking for in both character development, plot, and intrigue.
