I first heard of this author when her book was chosen as a Reese book club pick! I am so glad I found her and she kills it! I love how she develops these characters into people you genuinely care about. Alice seemed to have it all going for her. She had become a single mother when her husband when missing. She built their business up, raided her daughter, and eventually fell in love again. When she starts doubting little things she finds answers she didn't even know she needed! I was literally on the edge on my seat the entire time I read this book! I was absolutely blown away at the ending! I was cheering for her so hardcore. I love how Jones makes you want to just devour the book in one sitting and not put it down till you have all the answers. I also love the flow of her writing and she is extremely clever. She also writes exceptional villains! We love to hate them!
