This looks like it's going to be an intriguing domestic suspense novel. I always try to guess the ending, but it's definitely impossible based on the excerpt I was lucky to get to read. That's a good thing in my book, so I'm excited to read the rest! I don't think the first three chapters are enough to give a fair rating on-I want to read more!! I'm very excited for this one, although I think it needs a good grammar review before publication.
The characters seem interesting and I think there are a lot of secrets being held back from each other, starting with Nathan and Alice, who, like many main characters in domestic suspense novels, seem to have a poor marriage and don't communicate well. Alice and Beth also seem to have secrets hidden from one another, and Alice seems to be hiding some events from her past life from everyone.
I'm excited to see where the story goes and I think I'm going to like this book a lot more than Sandie Jones' first novel, The Other Woman.
