another domestic mystery in a world full of them - but this one deserves its spot! Alice is married to her second husband, has a successful career but begins to suspect him of cheating - and starts to feel that she can't even turn to her friend Beth. to top it all off - everything with her first husband might also not be what it seems. Just when i thought i had predicted the ending, the "who-dun-it" - i got to the end of the book (quickly, as it is a page turner!) and realized i had had no clue and was surprised. i know that i now need to go back and read the author's debut novel since it was raved about and i loved this one. there is so much happening as the book goes on, all the revelations leading to the end!
