Overall, this was a good read. It definitely had me turning the page and staying up late to see what happened! The problem I had was that the writing was stilted in places. It would flow well for a few chapters and become stilted again. It was particularly noticeable in the dialogue between Alice and Nathan. The twists were how I liked them: surprising and well paced, but not shockingly unbelievable. I just can’t help feeling that with another round of editing and focusing on improving the dialogue and making the writing more even that this book could have been so much more. Imperfect dialogue is one of my biggest book pet peeves.
