In just the first 16 pages, I am hooked. I am interested to see where the story takes these characters. What is really going on with the daughter in school? How is the marriage, really? I love a good domestic thriller. I feel for Alice. It sounds like she is overwhelmed with her family life and not getting alot of support from her husband. The cover of the roses with broken petals gives me the impression that there are rough roads ahead for this couple.
