These first couple chapters didn’t exactly grab me and pull me in. However, the description, the sinister prologue and the questions toward the end about Alice’s first husband’s death hint there is more to it than the First Look reveals. It definitely seems Alice is hiding something. And since I enjoyed The Other Woman, I’ll certainly be checking out Jones’s sophomore novel.
