What I liked about this book right away is that the family dynamics of this family felt authentic to me. But then, you discover that the central character, Alice, is so much more than a mom she runs a successful business with her husband. I have a feeling that there is something mysterious about their relationship.
It reminded me a lot of Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. A book I absolutely loved.
