Alice is a designer in business with her second husband, Nathan. She was unexpectedly widowed, but appears to have been with Nathan (current husband) for several years. She has two daughters. She maybe doesn't like to fly or travel? There is some fluidity to sense of time in the first couple of chapters which adds a hint of mystery. I wonder how reliable a narrator Alice will be and how much we will have to look for cues to figure out what is really going on. I"m looking forward to it!
