If I hadn't read the teaser, I'd have no idea where this book is going - the first look wasn't enough to set the tone. I know there is drama between Alice, Nathan and Beth, but we barely met Beth or Nathan. This could be a great psychological thriller, but I just can't tell from the first few chapters. I'm not sure if I would read this - there are so many novels with similar plots out there.
