What I like about the story so far is that Alice is just like every other working mother trying to hold it all together. She is rushed in the morning, her youngest daughter can't find her stuff for swim, and her oldest daughter is too busy putting on makeup to care that they're all waiting for her to leave and start the day.
Once they're at school, the teacher wants to have a talk, and then once Alice manages to "escape" the school, she is confronted with an ex lover at work.
This book takes a hold of you right from the start and I can't wait to see what the rest has in store!
