I liked how this started out by grounding the story in regular everyday things like a hectic morning and a daughter struggling socially at school, it’s good to get some reality before the more dramatic stuff truly kicks in. As for the cover, I like how the wilting flower gives you a sense of the book’s tone without really giving anything away.
