Wow! I absolutely love the author's writing style. From only those first 16 pages, I am hooked. I love how descriptive the book is. For example; Alice's getup and the smell of the cafeteria. The author made me want to know more about the character's backstories and what's coming next! Is Alice secure in her marriage? If so, why is she dressing up for a past love. If David had looked different, would she have reacted differently? Why is Olivia being bullied by her so-called friend? What happened to Alice's first husband? And why did Nathan not call her as soon as he landed. Please give me the chance to answer these questions and more!
