Right from the start, as I read the prologue, I was imagining what would happen and how. I love a book that makes me curious at the first go.
Going in the into the book, we meet Alice as she is hurrying to get the children off and go to work herself. As you read,you can feel her panic or stress rising. She's a good mom and worried about her children but something is causing her more stress than can be expected. What happened? Why is she this way?
Further in we learn her child is being bullied and her first husband has died. Curiosity comes over how he died as it alludes to a one in a million type thing.
I really want to read this book and see what is going on! As a fan of her first book, I look forward to read this one.
