I unfortunately am not a great fan of British literature. It seems like an interesting book, but I tend to get distracted by the different terms.

As she is winding up her meeting, the husband calls with news her daughter had a fall at school. She was ignoring the call while her “client” makes a pass. She rushes outside to take the call and hurry to the school to pick up the daughter. A busy day for Alice
