I am intrigued with the character Alice, she strikes me as a down to earth, authentic character who has integrity...even when tempted. In The First Mistake, I see her bond with her children and her best friend, as well as her love for her husband. Now I need to know what is between Alice, her husband, and her best friend as well as what is up with this old flame of Alice's turning up into her life. The first look definitely grabbed my attention- the dialogue seems well written and the characters lively!!! Definitely on my to be read list!!
