You had me at the prologue! I need to read more!
I expect not to be able to put this book down until I’m finished.
The prologue teases us with the battle of guilt and justification; walking away or seeking revenge. Revenge seems the route to go, as per the prologue she had it coming.
Now the questions are who is seeking revenge and for what?
Will Sophia seek revenge because Lottie had an affair with her husband during a business trip? Will Sophia seek revenge after her daughter’s continuous bullying? Will the flames with her first boyfriend reignite and she’ll stop at nothing to get any obstacle (other woman) out of her way? Will her husband seek revenge because Sophia had an affair? What caused Sophia’s hypersensitivity to anxiety? Perhaps the answer to that question will make us understand her first boyfriend’s reappearance. Did Sophia’s first boyfriend make his way back into her life to make her pay for any past hurts and disappointments?
