The cover really appealed to me, I thought it was quite attractive. Right from the start Alice seemed a jumble of nerves. Getting the kids off to school seemed to be such a problem. Her interration with her client that was her first lover turning into a fiasco totally unglued her. Racing thoughts of something bad happening to her husband because he didn't get back to her as soon as his plane landed. Her daughter's bump on her head seemed to me to be an overreaction also. It looked to me that she never got over her first husbands death, and I am so curious as to how he died and hope later in the book that comes out. The prolougue seems sinister and interesting. I definately want to continue reading this book.
