First, let me say that I like the cover. It is interesting and something that would catch my attention on a shelf. I only got to read an excerpt of this book, but it had me craving more. The author did a great job of making the story interesting right from the very beginning. I enjoyed the inclusion of a fandom as part of the premise of the story and to add to the world building. I really like the characters and the plot of the story. The other thing that was amazing was the pacing because I never felt like the story was dragging. Overall, I cannot wait to have this book and get to read this story to see how it will go and how it will end. My only complaint is that I wish that the excerpt was longer!
