Holy plot-twists! I couldn’t put this book down. I was constantly rooting for Nick and Seth to get together, knowing right off the bat that they were in love with each other. I was hoping that we would find out who Shadow Star and Pyro Storm were, and that was one of the biggest plot twists for me because I thought I had it all figured out early on in the story. And the bad guy from the beginning , maybe not so bad after all! Without giving it away, my jaw dropped at the end, and I need to know more.
I loved the different fonts for the fanfiction parts and the texts we got to read throughout the story. I enjoy the little additions and it brings a different vibe to the book compared to other books of the same genre.
This was an advanced readers copy that I finally got around to reading (whoops, sorry about that), and it mentions that it’s uncorrected, which I noticed a few times with some typos or missing words.
Overall, I'm glad I got this book and now I need to get the next ones to complete the story and find out what happens after the little cliffhanger ending.
