The Extraordinaries was so freaking adorable! Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope, but this friends to lovers story was perfect. It was cute how oblivious Nick was to Seth’s feelings for him and of his own feelings for Seth. I don’t want to spoil anything but the reveals were amazing! I figured somethings out pretty quickly and others I thought I had figured out and then I had to reevaluate.
This was the first book I read that had a character with ADHD and I thought TJ Klune did a wonderful job with it. I also loved the LGBTQ+ representation.
After finishing the book, I was in a really good mood because I loved the story and the characters so much. Than’s how you know its a great book. I can’t wait for the sequel.
If you’re thinking about the audiobook, I recommend it. I thought the narrator really fit Nick’s character.
