Nate is a likeable main character and narrator, even if it's sometimes a bit tiring to follow his rapid train of thought shifts.

The setting of Nova City and the presence of superheroes and secretive masked crime fighters is not a new concept - I was reminded very strongly of both Disney's The Incredibles and The CW's The Flash - but this story feels more relatable to an average reader because the story is told from the point of view of a civilian rather than a superhero.

I appreciated the effort towards diversity and representation in the character development, in terms of mental ability, race, sexuality, and socioeconomic standing. Truly a YA novel for the modern age. This story will appeal to a wide variety of readers - well done!
