My first impression of this book was that I had no idea what I was looking at. The book opens with what turns out to be a blog post meant to convey a lot of information to a reader who knows nothing about what they're reading. The frustrating thing is that the blog post is written by a 16-year-old boy about a superhero on whom he has a crush, so it's neither written well nor particularly interesting. That leaves the actual content of the book to do a lot of heavy lifting to bring the reader back to a place of interest in the storyline.

That being said, I did enjoy the relationship between the main character and his father and the idea that superheroes are real in this world. If I enjoyed teen romance more, I'd be more interested in this book. However, a storyline focused on the main characters crush on the superhero isn't all that appealing to me.
