Ultra modern and could be dated before long, but definitely fun.
There are references abound in this book. The first intro chapter is a mock fanfic (thus this book's comparison to Rainbow Rowell's Carry On) I find the writing humorous and having a certain charm to it. Very current though and would probably be dated within a few years. Also quite geared toward internet-savvy readers with the references to "tumblring", Etsy, and fanfics in general. The writing is full of personality though and I see potential for a fun, brisk read with an effervescent main character.
