The fanfic book I didn't know I needed (but I do)

I'm a big fan of both Fangirl and Geekerella, so I was already in at the description. During the fan fic section (which was perfect) I thought, oh cool this will be superhero fandom instead of fantasy or sci-fi, that'll be a cool twist because it's outside of my normal wheelhouse. Then to read further and realize it isn't just comic books, the Extraordinaries are actually real, and facing a very Incredible-like super hero reality gives it an even better twist.

I also have to say the dialog in this is spot on. Both Nick and his dad feel like real life people rather than characters which is always a good sign. I'm lukewarm on the cover, it doesn't feel very extraordinary, but maybe that's the point further on?
