After reading the small synopsis, I wasn't grabbed. After reading the first look, I was sold. The Extraordinaries seems to take the (becoming) common Super Hero sub-genre and makes it feel exciting and fresh. I like that we are looking at the super heros from a fan's perspective and not from the hero themselves. I enjoyed the father-son dynamic btwn Nick and his Dad. Looks like an all around good read.
