The cover of The Extraordinaries is colorful and fun. If I saw it on the shelf I would definitely pick it up to at least read the back cover. The first look was also very good in my opinion. This story has a fun format. It starts off with a fan fiction written by the main character, Nick. There are also comments that come after the fanfic that feel so true to life it’s scary. I’ve only read the first look and Nick feels like such a relatable teenager. Silly quirks already popping out, and you can tell that he fanboys as hard for his favorite superhero as I do as a reader for my favorite books/characters. I will definitely pick this one up when it publishes.
