I have somewhat mixed feelings about this one though it is not because I think it is badly written. I think it has more to do with swoony teenagers, which aren't my favorite to listen to (no offense!) than the book itself. I really like how the relationship between Nick and his father is portrayed because you can see how he gets annoyed and embarrassed by his dad and also feels misunderstood while simultaneously feeling the love between the two of them. I also love the dad's sense of humor and definitely giggled several times during just this short read. So while the narrator's voice may not be my favorite, I do definitely really like TJ Klune's writing style.
