Have I been waiting for this book my whole life?
I think I have! I love a good superhero romance (so sad that Renegades is done) and I also love a good book about fanfic - so this book, which focuses on human Nick writing fanfic about a superhero in his city - melds two fun genres together!
Nick and his dad, a cop, have an adorable relationship. Though his dad doesn't like to talk about emotions, their banter is fun and cute. I kind of want to eat breakfast with them every morning!
