The fan fiction related aspect of this is really well done; it definitely captures what that process and culture is like. It’s also nice to have a main character with ADHD, and to see his struggles with it (I’m sure the rest of the book will help with developing that more). Aside from the bit of girl hate on Rebecca Firestone, this was a fun read and I look forward to the full book!
