Pop culture is filled with super heroes. We have movies, television shows, costumes, action figures- you name it. Although superheroes have gone main-stream, their continued success is largely due to the fandoms. These dedicated fans who devote their time writing new stories, attending conventions, and spreading their love for the characters. The Extraordinaries tells us the story of a world of superheroes through the eyes of a teenage boy who has had a rough year and finds his happiness through idolizing them (well, one in particular).
