The fan fiction opening was inspired, excellent open. The characters and their relationship were an instant hook. Nick is immediately enough to pull you in and then his relationship with his dad was superbly demonstrated in a master class of show not tell. There’s enough back story to keep you reading without giving away too much and I was eye poppingly frustrated when it ended. Thank you for the lovely little glimpse on what’s to come.
