TJ Klune delivers another ringer through first impression alone; introducing us to the book through fanfiction is a hilarious way to see Nick's opinions about the Extraordinaries, and funnier still because it frankly isn't "good" fanfiction. Nick himself is a great character. His relationship with his dad is well-written and his disdain for Rebecca is very apt for a teenage boy with a crush. I'd like to get to know him even better.
