I feel so bad writing this but I had to not finish at 83 pages.
It felt like it was taking a long time for the plot to get to the meeting point, and I was losing interest quickly. I also wasn’t really sure of what was happening in the present (or is it future?) time.
The overall vibe was pretty melancholy as well, and I was have trouble reading for pleasure.
I was saddened because I had high expectations for the book.
I was also a little thrown off by Signes storyline flipping back to her childhood, sometimes this wasn’t always clear, and and I was struggling to understand what had happened with her father and her husband. Everything was kept under wraps and I think if we were told earlier we could stick around longer.
