This dual perspective story follows Signe, David, and Lou throughout history in a world destroyed by climate change. Thought the characters never meet, we learn that they are linked. This is a powerful concept, one that is realistically scary, and though I loved the commentary and idea of the story, I found the execution of the characters a bit boring. The overarching metaphor of water is beautiful throughout the story, but for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on, I didn't necessarily connect with all the characters. I do recommend this book to a sci-fi lover with political interest in climate change. Thank you to Bookish First for this book in exchange for an honest review.
