The father/daughter bond between David and Lou is clearly visible. Signe’s journey also grips the reader immediately; I know I definitely want to explore more about this character. While the crux of the book may be the father/daughter journey to find respite and their family, I can’t wait to explore more of their familial bond as they navigate through the troubling events. The book cover is definitely appealing and instantly draws the eye to the book.
