My first impression of this one happened before I started reading. Wow - such gorgeous and eye-catching cover art! I also (for whatever reason) love when a cover and/or title includes water.
My interest quickly waned while reading though. I'm usually a fan of dual-time periods, but I wasn't grabbed by either in this one. I'd perhaps read a little further to see if gets more interesting, but I doubt the climate change theme will pull me in.
