From the cover and the first chapter, I was surprised to find the second perspective in this book set in 2041. David and his daughter Lou's story hooked me more quickly because the circumstances are so mysterious. What has happened in 2041 and how will his story intersect with Signe's? I'm curious to read the rest of the book. Also, the cover is absolutely gorgeous.
