Two timelines: present day when the effects of climate change are just beginning to be felt and 20 years in the future when the oceans have risen and the land is blighted by drought and unending heat. Davis wanders this future earth with his daughter searching for his wife and son and Signe tries to change what already can’t be changed in the present day.
