Another amazing journey by Melissa de la Cruz! I loved every minute of this book. I've read several of her books in the past, I've been very happy with them, and this one was no exception. It was well written with relatable characters and a plot that drew you in. The settings were described in so much detail that I felt like I was could actually see them. I really enjoyed learning more about a culture I'm not familiar with and appreciated how well the author integrated the explanations of the different customs and creatures into the storyline. The book flowed well and made me want to keep reading. I never would have imagined the route it would take when I started it. I felt like a few things were left a little unfinished but Im guessunt those will be continued in the next book. The cliff hanger ending has me already waiting not so patiently for the next book in the series.
