First and foremost, the cover of this book is absolutely gorgeous and I would read it for that alone. But the description and first impression were also really engaging. I really appreciate a book that includes mythology that isn't Greek or Roman, and this particular culture is one that I am not familiar with. The mythology felt accessible and has me curious to learn more about the stories of this region.
