Filipino Mythology - The Encanto's Daughter
I've read other Melissa de la Cruz books, and I'll admit that she isn't a favorite author of mine. While I do read a lot of young adult books, I feel her target audience is on the younger or true side of the YA age.
I loved the map inclusion within this sneak peek and do find the blurb to be compelling. The opening line was engaging right away, as well as the opening chapter. I may give this one a chance after publication and other reviews are coming out, but it isn't enough to compel me to enter the raffle.
