'The Encanto's Daughter' is not a YA book I would pick up based on it's cover or synopsis. But I enjoyed reading the First Look and would love to know what MJ's magic is. I feel this book is too fantastical for my taste and too targeted to the Young Adult audience to be of interest to me. However, I think a young teen would love this book if interested in fantasies.
