That was a lot getting thrown at me with no preamble and no breaks. I was enjoying it through meeting Elias, but then there continued to not be substance. I'm left wondering why MJ's parents left her so in the dark about the kingdom she's intended to rule, not even being able to recognize a sirena when she is the princess of the Sirena Court, much less understanding her political position.
