The best book I've read in awhile...
The Electric Kingdom is so complex and detailed that it's hard to summarize without giving important pieces of the puzzle away. I loved how it referenced Battlestar Galactica and the Phantom Tollbooth - a couple of my favorites.<3 I also felt like this book was a combination of Bird Box, Station Eleven, Lord of the Flies, and an episode of the X-Files.
So as to not give anything away, I am leaving you with this: The Electric Kingdom is one of the best books I have read in a VERY long time. It became an instant favorite and I can see myself rereading it many times in years to come. There are so many lessons and beautiful quotes that I’m sure something new will be taken away with each read. I will recommend this book to everyone and anyone who will listen to me talk about this phenomenal work of art.
